It began with a dress.

In the corner of a Parisian vintage store, our founder discovered a 1950s cinched-waist dress — beautifully made, impeccably cut, still standing proud after half a century. Its former owner had long been forgotten, yet its quiet confidence traveled across time, undiminished.

In that moment, she understood: true elegance never belongs to a single season. It belongs to time.

But when she searched for a dress with that same vintage soul — one made for the independent, busy, discerning women around her, yet suited to modern life — she found a market split in two. On one side, disposable fast fashion. On the other, unreachable luxury. The space in between — refined, lasting, and within reach — was almost empty.

And so, VIONVA was born.

The name VIONVA is drawn from two words: Viva — a celebration of life — and Nova — new light. Together, they carry our belief: that timeless elegance deserves to be reimagined for the woman of today.

We draw inspiration from the golden silhouettes of the 1950s — the New Look waist, the graceful full skirt, the effortless ease of an afternoon in Paris or Rome — and reimagine them in modern fabrics, thoughtful cuts, and fits designed for real life.

We don't make "this season's hit." We make "the one you'll wear for years." Not for a single season, but for the years and the memories ahead.
